after making 3 runs with this pot I can say im pleased with the final product, the ease of use and cleanup are all good. didnt have any problems air cooling the arm ive ended up with about 3-4 qts out of my 5gal runs and thats pretty solid for personal use and the time involved. last batch was a cognac and it is great. adjusted with distilled water to get it down to 90 proof. added a couple toasted oak cubes from the local wine and beer supply house and aged it in the bottle for a week. chucked the wood cubes and re-filtered it and put it back in the bottle to sit for another week, after a side by side comparison with some french congac it was virtually indistinguishable. Its a good size for home and it is just big enough to make your effort worth while. I can recommend it as a good all around pot for the widest range of recipes.
